Private Keys- a string of letters and numbers that acts like a password and allows you to access and manage your crypto. Your private keys is like the key to your virtual vault of money. No one but you should have access to this password.

Public Keys- it is what allows you to receive crypto from others. Anyone can see your public key, and is merely for transactions between users. Remember- it is safe to share your public key with others. This will not give them access to anything but to send you funds.
