2 Terms to Learn: The merge is coming!

• Ethereum Merge- the merge will divide the Ethereum network into smaller data blocks, making more transactions at greater speed in a process known as sharding. The merge will allow for faster transcations, less gass prices, less energy intensive, more decentralization, and better security. The merge is scheduled to happen with the coming weeks.

• Fractionalized NFTs- NFTs that are split into smaller pieces by their original owner. They can be split into as little as 2 pieces or even billions. This makes it possible for anyone to partially own iconic NFTs like CryptoPunks. When an NFT gets fractionalized, the pieces get locked into a smart contract.
