Hello Moxie fam! As you know, we’re building Moxies with and for tween girls and their parents. Other social media platforms have not done the same and have gone so far as to capitalize on teen vulnerabilities.
Karina Newton, Instagram’s head of policy, wrote: “The blueprint of the app is inherently not designed for an age group that doesn’t have the same cognitive and emotional skills that older teens do.”
Moxies is a SAFE ecosystem created FOR tweens, and we’re committed to creating a healthier tech future for Gen Alpha and beyond!

The reality is that the rapid advancement of technology has a profound effect on future generations' health and identity formation. We’re creating Moxies to build a SAFE and engaging ecosystem for tweens. We must uphold the values that are most important to our community.
We reached out to our Moxies Beta Group to ask what key values and principles they find crucial for participating in Moxies. Some of the response themes included:
respect for diversity, self, and others
a positive, safe, and encouraging environment
a place for girls to build confidence and resilience
empathy and compassion for understanding each other
